If your state requires emission testing this will create a problem for you unless you build a harness to switch back and forth from for emission testing purposes.- Attempting a Megasquirt install necessitates the ability to read basic wiring diagrams and preferrably soldering versus crimp connections. If you have no knowledge in this area, source a friend that does. - Megasquirt units require hardware modifications to properly decode the 420a crank signal. If you purchase an assembled Megasquirt unit that is not from a vendor that modifies it for the 420a, you will need to perform the modifications yourself.
